Deployment checklist

Use this checklist before opening the Azure Marketplace deployment form.

You do not need to complete detailed DNS, certificate, or private networking configuration before deployment. Those steps are completed after the platform publishes its deployment details.

Azure and Marketplace

  • [ ] The target Azure subscription is confirmed.
  • [ ] The Azure region is confirmed.
  • [ ] Marketplace purchasing is enabled.
  • [ ] The deploying user has the required Azure permissions.
  • [ ] Azure quota and policy allow the deployment.
  • [ ] The required Marketplace offer and plan are available.

Platform configuration

  • [ ] The current stack version is compatible with planned clients and integrations.
  • [ ] Search or Observability is selected.
  • [ ] The initial Small, Medium, or Large capacity is selected.
  • [ ] A supported topology is selected.
  • [ ] Optional machine-learning capacity is selected only if required.

Access and DNS domain

  • [ ] Public access is enabled or disabled.
  • [ ] The platform-provided DNS domain or a company-owned DNS domain is selected.
  • [ ] If a company-owned DNS domain is selected, the DNS owner can create records after deployment.

Detailed endpoint, DNS, Private Endpoint, and TLS configuration is completed after deployment.

Maintenance and support

  • [ ] The maintenance window and time zone are selected.
  • [ ] The service or application owner is known.
  • [ ] The technical contact is known.
  • [ ] The support or escalation contact is known.

Ready to deploy

If all required items are complete, continue to Deploy from Azure Marketplace.

After deployment completes, follow Next steps to reset the administrator password, configure access, DNS, and TLS, and verify the platform.
