Deploy from Azure Marketplace

Use Azure Marketplace to create the managed application in your Azure subscription.

Have the values selected during planning available before starting the deployment.

Before you begin

Confirm that:

Open the Marketplace offer

  1. In the Azure portal, open the Marketplace listing for Opsflw Managed Elasticsearch Platform published by Opsflw.
  2. Select the plan you want to deploy.
  3. Review the plan pricing and terms.
  4. Select Create.

Configure the Azure deployment

On Basics, select:

  • Azure subscription;
  • resource group;
  • Azure region;
  • managed application name.

Use values that follow your organization's Azure naming and deployment requirements.

Choose the platform configuration

Select the values chosen during planning:

  • Workload — Search or Observability;
  • Capacity — Small, Medium, or Large;
  • Topology — one of the options available for the selected workload and plan;
  • Machine learning — enable only if required and available.

See choose capacity and topology if you need to review these options.

Configure public access

Choose whether to enable access over the internet.

  • Enabled — the platform exposes supported public HTTPS endpoints.
  • Disabled — private connectivity is configured after deployment.

If public access is disabled, the deployment still completes before you create the customer-side Private Endpoint and DNS configuration.

Choose the DNS domain

Choose the DNS domain option selected during planning:

  • Platform-provided DNS domain — use the domain and hostnames provided by the platform.
  • Company-owned DNS domain — use a domain or subdomain owned by your organization.

If you select a company-owned DNS domain, enter the required domain value in the Marketplace form.

Do not create DNS records yet. The platform publishes the authoritative endpoint and DNS information after deployment.

Configure maintenance

Select the planned maintenance settings exposed by the Marketplace form, such as:

  • occurrence or frequency;
  • day;
  • start time;
  • time zone;
  • duration.

These settings define the preferred window for supported platform maintenance.

Provide support contacts

Enter the required operational or support contacts.

Use organization-approved account addresses. When email must go to a separate mailbox, map the authorized account to a delivery address. Review the syntax, validation rules, and authorization boundary under Support contacts.

Do not enter passwords, tokens, private keys, or other secrets in contact or free-text fields.

Complete plan-specific settings

Complete any additional settings required by the selected Marketplace plan.

This can include licensing or other plan-specific options.

For a detailed explanation of the form fields, see deployment options.

Review and create

On Review + create:

  1. Resolve any Azure validation errors.
  2. Review the subscription, region, and managed application name.
  3. Verify the workload, capacity, and topology.
  4. Verify the public-access setting.
  5. Verify the DNS domain option and domain value, if applicable.
  6. Verify the maintenance window and contacts.
  7. Review the price and Marketplace terms.
  8. Select Create.

Continue to deployment status

Azure first creates the Managed Application and its deployment resources.

A successful Azure deployment does not necessarily mean Elasticsearch and Kibana are ready for use. Platform provisioning and configuration continue after the Azure resources are created.

Do not modify resources in the managed resource group.

Continue to monitor deployment.
